Have you tried placing the R6 forks on your R7? I was just wondering how to go about it. I think they have different triple clamps. Is it possible to swap from the R6 to the R7? The triple clamp I mean. I'm pretty sure there's no direct bolt-on solution as of right now. :/

The R6 forks can be an upgrade for the R7 but it's not a straightforward bolt on swap. The triple clamps on the two models have different dimensions so youll need to modify the triple clamps press the R7 steering stem into the R6 triple or find aftermarket options designed to bridge the gap.

One of the key aspects is making sure the steering stem dimensions align. Some riders have successfully pressed the R7 stem into the R6 triple clamps with the help of a machine shop but it requires precise measurements and machining. Front end geometry changes could impact handling so it's worth double checking rake, trail, and overall fitment before committing to the swap.

Also important to consider component compatibility beyond the forks such as the front wheel, brake calipers, and fender mounts as these may require further adjustments. If youre planning this upgrade take your time with measurements, consult with others who done similar swaps and ensure everything is structurally sound. This kind of modification requires patience but with the right approach, it can be a great performance upgrade.

Yeah, i don't think there's an available bolt on kit using R6 parts. What about those aftermarket catridge kits? you might have a better chance with those. let us know how it goes!
