OEM quick shifter not working

So much for "OEM" parts. I did go to the dealer instead of buying an aftermarket quick shifter because I read that it's more likely to get complications when you get from anywhere except the manufacturer. I was confident it's good. But then when I tried installing, it did not work at all. Nada. All that and nothing. What's your solution for this or has anyone tried a proper way to install that WORKS? I'm not feeling too good, I feel like I should have just gone to an aftermarket auto repair.

It took me more than half a day til it work by doing the same process. So I suggest you save some patience for that the next time you try it and may double check either the connector or the switch itself

perhaps you missed something when setting up?, just check connections first though

Man, I feel you, it's frustrating when you rely on the OEM and then run into issues. Sometimes that quick shifter really does need the ECU to be activated or the sensor to be aligned, even if it seems like it should just work. Make sure all the connections are good, and maybe give the dealer a call to see if it's been programmed right. Don't stress too much it happens to everyone
