wanted to check in and see if anyone else has been running into problems with the stock front brake rotors on their R7. I'm noticing some warping or pulsing under moderate braking nothing extreme yet, but definitely not confidence inspiring. The bike's not tracked, just spirited street riding and I've heard murmurs about this being a weak point on the factory setup. opinions?

These kinds of things usually happen under hard braking and it seems to be common for the r7. An upgrade to bigger rotor is ideal to prevent these kinds of situations in the future. There are tons of aftermarket racing kits for this bike so choose one that first in your budget

Absolutely, this is a common problem. When you're riding hard, the heat can cause the rotors to warp a bit. One good solution is to consider upgrading to aftermarket rotors that have improved cooling features.
I was just talking to a buddy who has an R7, and he's having the exact same issue.
He also noticed a slight pulsing feel especially when he's scrubbing speed before a corner.
He said he thought he was going crazy at first, but it got more noticeable over time.
He's a pretty smooth rider, no heavy trail braking or anything, just spirited backroad stuff.
He ended up swapping to some Galfer wave rotors and new pads, and said it made a big difference!
So what you're saying sounds legit with the stock setup, not just a one-off.
